グラミー賞2020 ノミネート速報〜挾間美帆『ダンサー・イン・ノーホエア』/『環境音楽 1980-1990』

2020年1月26日(現地時間)に授賞式が行われる「第62回グラミー賞2020」のノミネートが発表された。ここでは、31番からのジャズ部門、75番からのクラシック部門を中心に速報でお知らせする。ノミネートの総リストはこちらをご覧いただきたい。ノミネート発表のビデオはこちら

今回、挾間美帆『ダンサー・イン・ノーホエア』が「34.ベスト・ラージ・ジャズ・アンサンブル・アルバム」にノミネートされた。自身のm_unitに、リオーネル・ルエケ、ネイト・スミスをゲストに迎えてのサードアルバム(全メンバーはこの記事の下へ)。ニューヨークを拠点に世界で活躍する”ジャズ作曲家”挾間美帆の近況については、ノースシー・ジャズ・フェスティバル、メトロポール・オーケストラのライブレポートをご参照いただきたい。なお、以前、挾間が一部編曲を担当した『If You Really Want / Raul Midón With The Metropole Orkest Conducted By Vince Mendoza』が、グラミー賞最優秀ジャズヴォーカルアルバムにノミネートされたことがある。


「68.ベスト・ヒストリカル・アルバム」では、『環境音楽 KANKYO ONGAKU: JAPANESE AMBIENT, ENVIRONMENTAL & NEW AGE MUSIC 1980-1990』がノミネートされた。Spencer Doranがキュレートし、坂本龍一、細野晴臣、久石譲、清水靖晃、イエローマジック・オーケストラ、イノヤマランド、吉村弘を含む25曲が収録されている。
