丸みを帯びたギターのサウンドに、アナログ時代を懐かしむ。ドラムのサウンドにもアタックの高音域のエッジはなく、バッサリ切られているのが面白い。タムの重い音は今聴いて、古いとかの問題ではないと大音量で聴く。空間を生かす配慮は全くなく、モノ音源にすべてが集中される。ミックス・バランスでの音像の組み立て方に当時のモノ録音の手の内を知る。
ピアノのサウンドも明瞭に浮かぶが、なんと骨太な音だと昨今との比較で、しびれる。音量差で、ここまで明確な組み立てをした録音は珍しい。
